I know I know you're probably going to say GMA?  I really don't target, or for that matter really care about, graded cards.  Sure I have a  nice stack of graded Younts, but most of those were gifts.  As a matter of fact as far as I can remember I've only really ever gone after two graded cards.  And this is one of them.  I can remember really wanted a really nice 1982 Topps Yount card.  Remembering why I wanted it is the problem.  The other thing is I have no idea why I settle on going after and acquiring a GMA graded example.  Probably because, like me, it was cheap.  I for the life of me don't remember what I paid for this but I know it wasn't pricey.  And for all the crap GMA may get for being a bargain basement grading company this 82 Topps Yount is a very nice looking card.  Not perfectly centered, which I guess doesn't affect the grade, but all four corners are sharp and the card is super clean.

On the Radar - 2021 Panini Absolute Baseball Yount Checklist

 Robin has a few very limited cards in this year's Absolute Baseball.  I'll add images as stuff starts showing up.  I correct card numbering when we find out what the actual card designations are, below are my best guess since Panini just assigns cards random numbers in their checklist.

2004 Topps Bazooka - Bazooka One-Liners Relic

I literally just got this one in the mail a few hours ago.  I've been looking for an affordable copy of this card for year's, 17 to be exact.  For some reason this card routinely goes for way more than I feel a simple bat relic out of a lower end product should.   But finally I came across a copy on eBay with a nice price tag and even more very affordable shipping.  It was actually my first time having a seller use the .99 cent card postage and other than the shipping never updated, the card was found safe and sound in my mailbox this afternoon.

I really miss this brand.  It was fun, retro, and had a ton of oddball stuff in the set, which I love. Plus a lot of the inserts like this one were just kind of fun and irreverent.  There is one parallel to this set  a foil board or something like it parallel numbered to just 25 copies, and very hard to find.  

I chuckle when I read the one-liner, because it reminds me of the old Brewers Police issue cards where they have something the player "says" on the back about safety, and never have I thought any of those players actually said any of those things, but this one, yeah that seems like something Robin would have said.

On the Radar - Topps Online 206 Wave 2 Yount Checklist

 Robin is featured in Wave 2 of the second year of this online exclusive product.  The packs are available for purchase from May 18th till June 8  and cost $14.99 for a 10 card pack.  Robin is listed as #32 in this wave of 50, but last year cards were unnumbered and since Wave 1 just closed today we still haven't seen if this year's cards are numbered.  Regardless, robin has a base card and all the parallels.

According to the Trading Card Database Robin Yount currently has 7125 cards give or take a few.  Out of all those cards, except for a few oddball Teague League Charity softball cards there are only two cards that do not feature Robin as a Brewer.  And I was finally able to snag one.  Not only that I was able to snag one really cheap.  These sets, as well as other team sets, where sponsored by Keebler Cookies and given out as an SGA.  According to the Standard Catalog this set was given out on July 28th.  You may recognize a few other coaches on the card, but Robin is by far the most notable.

 Robin has a surprise, or at least a surprise to me, card in the 2021 Bowman release.  He's featured in the buyback autographs.  And not only that but there are 50 copies to hunt!

On the Radar - 2021 Topps x Derek Jeter "Captains Crew"

Topps lastest collaboration (as I write this) product on Topps.com, Robin is featured in the base set and has sticker autos in the product as well.  Issued as a pack (or pack in a small box), each pack cost $19.99 and contains 10 cards  was offered on Topps.com from April 29th to May 6, 2021.  I'll add images as cards start showing up after this is released.

Both the base cards and autos come with multiple variations, I assume some color variation, but Topps doesn't make that clear from their website or checklist.
