On the Radar..err off - 2023 Topps Now #679 with Miguel Cabrera

 On August 8th Miguel Cabrera tied Robin Yount on the total career hits list.  He's since surpassed hit and is working toward Paul Waner, but his card commemorates the achievement.  More importantly we get new Yount card and Robin on a Topps Now card.  I totally missed this release so will have to chase the card on the secondary market.  There are also 5 parallels to look out for as well.

On the Radar - Topps Now Turn Back the Clock #200

 My beloved Brewers have been knocked out the playoffs yet again.  Sigh.  But Topps decided to give me a consolation prize and feature Robin Yount on yet another Topps Now Turn Back the Clock.  This one celebrating Robin's multiple 4 hit games in the 1982 World Series.  Last year the Brewers only had two cards in the Turn Back the Clock set (both CC Sabathia), and this year Robin gets two!! I'm not complaining.  Usually these are only offered for 24 hours but the last couple weeks Topps has been throwing out almost a weeks worth of cards at a time.  Robin's card would have been offered from Oct 17 to Oct 18, but is available at the time of writing (Oct 13, 2021) until Oct 18th.  Robin's last card only sold 436 cards (and I bought 5 of those).

I posted a card earlier today, hoping I wouldn't jinx it and I was rewarded but Topps actually producing this card finally.  I had hoped this would have come out last year on Sept 9th, the date Robin hit his 3000th hit back in 1992.  If you hurry you can get one, this one's only available for 24 hours off of Topps' website.  There is also a chance for a a couple super rare parallels.  Squeeeeeeeee!  I'll update with PR total when it's released.
