2025 Topps Update - Heavy Lumber

I was excited to see my favorite all time baseball player finally featured on the Topps Heavy Lumber insert back in the 2025 Topps Update set.  A hard pull these insert harken back to a time when the hits were all inserts, some much rarer than others.  With an estimated print run of just 500 it ranks right in there with a fairly rare inserts even today.  Introduced in 2023 the set runs through Series 1, Series 2, and Update.  There is also an Auto relic version to chase.  I was lucky enough to find a copy for about $20 delivered to add to the collection.

I was able to find a decently priced base 2025 Topps Gilded Collection Yount for the collection.  And it's a beauty.  I'm a sucker for shiny cards and I'm an even bigger sucker for shiny Robin Yount cards featuring the current base design.  Who cares if it's an over used image, it's very pretty in hand.  Plus it's fairly low numbered, which is always nice, and comes with full stats on the back.  I'm hoping I might be able to find the next couple of tiers (gold mini-diamond and gold wave) for a decent price as well.   

2025 Topps Transcendent Yount Checklist

 If you have watched any breaks of this insanely prices $25,000 product do it.  It's brutal.  I have yet to see anything come out of this that even comes close to the price tag.  With that said Robin does have a few cards to chase and not just talking about different inserts I'm talking total with many of the cards being just 1 of 1s.
