On the Radar - Pop Fly Art Print

If you missed out on Pop Fly's first Robin Yount art print (like me) you're in luck as Pop Fly has released a second Yount print.   This one commemorating his second MVP season and like all of Daniel's art this one has lots of little Easter eggs in it.  As a big comic book geek I love the mix of comic books and sports to create these prints.  You still have (at the time of writing) about 4 days to pick one of these up.  Prints are $50, which is a pretty significant increase from previous season which were priced at $35.  But I'm not going to miss my window again as Robin's first print has a print run of only 164 and the few I've found for sale have been in the triple digits.  Autographed editions signed by Robin are also available for $110.  If you want to pick one of these up you can find them here at Pop Fly Pop Shop but better hurry.  I'll update this post with this offerings print run once the ordering window closes.  Also check out the archives to see all the cool print's Daniels done.

On the Radar - 2021 Topps Brooklyn Collection

 Topps is once again offering the Brooklyn Collection. Boxes are $149.99 on their website and that includes just one 7 card pack with 2 autos, 2 parallels, and 3 base cards.  Robin has an autograph in the offering, but it's not clear yet if the autos are numbered or if there are parallels. Once that info gets released I'll update this post and add images once cards start showing up.  I'll also update SNing once it's actually known

On the Radar - 2021 Topps Living ----- Finally!!

 Apologies for getting this out so late, but you do have a couple days if you want to order Robin's Topps Living card.  I've only been waiting over 3 years for this card to be released.  I did notice that Topps had two different front images listed one with a red name plate and one with black?  I hadn't noticed this on other Topps Living offerings and I don't know if it was intentional or not, but there's nothing on the site about variations.  And I may have gone a little overboard on the amount of cards I ordered (or not).  But when my 10 pack gets here I'll let you know.

Another pick up from my latest COMC delivery (see past posts for more details).  2005 is the year that keeps on giving, or at least will be the year that I'll always be able to find something I'm missing.  Not hard when Robin had over 1000 cards produced with his likeness that year.  The legendary series features a few different relics, but the overall theme is the base cards, while low numbered, are still for the design which has relic, auto, and relic auto versions.

 

On the Radar - 2021 Topps Archives Yount Checklist

With the release (finally) of Topps Update I can sort of confirm that Robin won't and doesn't have a legends variation in the 2021 set.  And I'm ok with that, I will say however that I love when he does get that honor.  I love seeing Robin on the new Topps designs.  And I'll apologize for the long string of On the Radar posts.  I was traveling for the last couple weeks and well it also seems that there is just a ton of Robin cards coming out this year.  Did I mention that we've past over 600 new cards this year?

Ahem well going back to the trough I've been pulling from another card from my latest COMC delivery.  It's Robin's 2020 Topps Legends Variation.  Such a handsome card.  I will say I like the 2020 design over 2021.  It's also a photo that's not over used.  And who doesn't love a back filled with stats??!!
